| Description: | Thrombin assay reactions were performed in a reaction mixture containing thrombin, and test compounds were added at varied concentrations. The reactions were initiated by the addition of Na-Benzoyl-Phe-Val-Arg-p-Nitroanalide (Sigma Chemicals) at a final concentration of 1 mM. Reactions were incubated for 5 min at room temperature prior to measuring the change in OD405 nm for 10 min at 21-s intervals with a PowerwaveX (Bio-Tek Instruments) microplate reader. |
