| Description: | The functional antagonist assay was performed as described in Payne, S. L et al. (2002) J. Neurochem., 82: 1106-1117, hereby incorporated by reference. Specifically, [35S]GTPγS binding assays were performed by incubating membranes from Dopaine D2 receptor expressing cells in a buffer supplemented with GDP and the drugs. After a defined pre-incubation period, [35S]GTPγS was added to the reaction mixture. The assay was incubated and then terminated as described in the radioligand binding assay. |
