| Description: | The IC50 values for the compounds were determined using purified HIV-1 Protease. Inhibition of the cleavage of the peptide H-Val-Ser-Gln-Asn-(L-beta-napthylalanine)-Pro-Ile-Val-OH was assessed at 30 °C, pH = 5.5 with [Enzyme] = 30 pM for 1 h, using HPLC with UV detection for quantification of the products. For the IC50 data a substrate concentration of 0.4 mg/mL was used, and data was fit to a four parameter sigmoidal equation. |
