| Description: | Human Factor Xa and substrate were added to a 96-well assay plate containing inhibitor in reaction buffer. The rate of hydrolysis of the substrate was measured by monitoring the reaction at 405 nm for the release of p-nitroaniline. All compounds were assayed in duplicate at seven concentrations. Percent inhibition at each concentration was calculated from OD405nm value from the experimental and control sample. IC50 values were calculated from a four-parameter logistic regression equation. |
